We cannot see your health entries, because there is nowhere for them to go. Your journal lives on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud, and nothing is shared unless you share it.We collect no analytics, show no ads, and sell nothing to anyone.What EverHale stores, and whereEverything you log stays on your device, and syncs to your own private iCloud using Apple's CloudKit private database. That is your Apple account, not ours — we have no access to it, no ability to read it, and no copy of it.What is stored:Your entries: what you said or typed, the symptoms, medicines, measurements and notes in them, and when each thing happened.
Voice recordings and their transcripts, if you keep them. You choose how long they are kept in Settings; you can delete any recording at any time.
Photos you attach to an entry.
Profiles you create, including consent records for another adult whose journal you keep.
Your settings and preferences.We do not have a server. There is no EverHale database, no admin panel, and no employee who can look up your record.How the AI worksEverHale turns what you say into a structured entry using Apple's on-device Foundation Models. That processing happens on your iPhone.When a sentence is too complex for the on-device model, iOS may escalate it to Apple's Private Cloud Compute. That is Apple's infrastructure, covered by Apple's guarantee: your request is not stored, and is not accessible to Apple or to us. We never see it either way.Apple services you can turn onEach of these is off until you turn it on, and each sends data only to Apple — never to us.Apple Health. If you allow it, EverHale reads your sleep, steps, heart rate, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, wrist temperature and cycle data, so your own notes sit beside what your body was doing. EverHale only reads — it never writes anything to Health. You choose which data types to share, and you can revoke it in the Health app at any time.Apple Weather. If you turn weather on, EverHale asks iOS for your approximate location — your general area, never your exact position — and uses Apple's WeatherKit to note the day's conditions beside your entries. We never store your location. Only the weather values are saved.Siri. If you use Siri to log something, Siri's own speech recognition applies, under Apple's terms. Logging while your phone is locked is off by default and requires you to switch it on.Purchases. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.What we do not do
No analytics. No crash-reporting service. No advertising SDK. No third-party code that watches you use the app.
No account, no sign-up, no email required to use EverHale.
No sale, sharing, or licensing of your data to anyone, for any purpose, ever.
No advertising, and no advertiser has ever had access to anything in EverHale.
No training of AI models on your data. Your entries are never used to improve any model, ours or anyone else's.
Journals kept for another personEverHale lets you keep a journal for a child, or for another adult who has agreed to it.For another adult, EverHale records their consent before anything is logged: what they agreed to, on what date, in their own words, with their signature or a spoken "yes". That record is kept unchanged for as long as the profile exists, and is deleted with it.That person can ask you to stop at any time — the profile is then frozen, nothing more is added, and the existing history stays readable. They can also ask you to delete it, which removes everything belonging to that profile from your device and your iCloud. You are offered a copy of their record before it is deleted.For a child's profile, the parent or guardian is the record keeper, and their consent applies.Sharing — only when you chooseThe Visit Brief and the export exist so that you can share your record. Nothing goes anywhere until you send it.Visit Brief — a summary you can show, print or send to your clinician.
Export — your complete record as JSON and CSV, available in every subscription state, including after a subscription lapses. Nothing is ever withheld.Once you send something to another person or app, this policy no longer governs what happens to it.Your control over your data
Edit anything, forever. Every entry is editable at any time.
Delete anything. Individual entries, individual recordings, or everything.
Export everything. Always, in every state, at no extra cost.
Delete the app. Removing EverHale removes the app's data from your device. To remove the iCloud copy, use iPhone Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage.You do not need to ask us for any of this, and there is nothing for us to action, because we hold nothing.ChildrenEverHale is not directed at children as users, and requires a subscription held by an adult. A parent or guardian may keep a journal for a child within their own account. That child's data is treated exactly like any other data in this policy: on the device, in the parent's private iCloud, never sent to us.Your rightsBecause we hold no personal information about you, most data rights — access, correction, deletion, portability — are things you exercise directly in the app rather than by asking us. If you are in Australia, the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles apply to us as an Australian company. If you are in the UK, EU, or another region with data protection law, those rights apply too — and in each case the practical answer is the same: your data is in your hands, not ours.If you believe we have handled your information improperly, contact us at [email protected].
